GAMAA
Leadership Programme - Growing Tomorrow's Leaders
|
| |
|
GAMAA
represents suppliers to the graphic media and printing industries
in Australia. One of GAMAA's key objectives is to meet the challenges
of the future by growing tomorrow's leaders - and its Leadership
Programme is directed at this objective.
The
Leadership Programme complements the traditional suppliers' role
of providing technically-based education, to a higher level, where
strategically focussed learning is directed at the development
of leaders to help take the industry forward.
The Programme is designed to meet the unique
demands of this major industry sector, developed after extensive
diagnostics both in Australia and overseas. It is aimed at high-potential,
middle to senior managers seeking to improve their leadership
and management education, currently working within the industries. |
|

"I have been involved in training and
development for most of my adult life. The GAMAA Workshops provide
a calibre of facilitator rarely seen at the usual courses. The
content really complements my studies and the environment created
to experience this is very safe, allowing us to explore the full
implications of the dynamics available." Kelly
Bourke, Sales Manager, SOS Print & Media Group.
"The personal development and growth
obtained through the GAMAA Ledadership Workshops has increased
personal value to my employer through being more effective as
a leader and coach." Matthew Collins, CPI Group. |

| Workshop
Component
|
|
A requirement of the Scholarship is for students
to attend two 3-day Workshops. They
also enable the exchange of information and the development of
research materials specific to the nuances of the industries.
Workshops will explore topics such as; building
high performing teams, problem solving, coaching, customer knowledge,
collaboration and diversity, strategic outlook and branding. |
|

As well as the practical side
of the material, the Workshops are designed to complement your
external studies delivered through group activities, role plays
and active discussion. The format allows participants to brainstorm,
discuss ideas and develop networks with other students who face
the same challenges and are involved in different sectors of the
industry. There are a limited number of
places available at each Workshop for industry professionals who
are not undertaking formal studies.
